The GAAR Ambassador Program, also known as G.A.P. was initiated to support the association by facilitating communication between brokers and the association. The purpose is to ensure that members are aware of all the tools and resources available to them that will help them to succeed in the industry.

What is an Ambassador?
A GAAR Ambassador is a REALTOR®. A diplomat. A member who is committed to empowering other members through collaboration and education. It means that all of our members matter to you, no matter what company or office they’re from.

Ambassadors set the example by showing up, learning, contributing, and promoting positive experiences to other members.

Why do we need Ambassadors?
In order to ensure there aren't any disconnects or miscommunications between members and their association staff and elected leadership. G.A.P. members provide the living, breathing connection to “bridge the gap" (pun intended) between the groups. 

Ambassadors envision bridging the divide so that EVERY member knows and understands that their member-led association is a resource to help them succeed as professionals in the real estate industry.

What do Ambassadors get out of it?
Besides some nice swag, Ambassadors receive leadership experience, exposure, and gratification. And really, you get out of it - what you put in. The more an Ambassador “shows up” - the more they learn; the more experiences they’ll take away and share with their company or office. Ambassadors make a tremendous impact on bringing members together.

Who can be an Ambassador?
The only qualification is to be a GAAR REALTOR®. The program provides the opportunity for a member to become an influencer and to develop or improve their leadership skills. Commitment, attendance, and engagement are all critical attributes for G.A.P. members.

How often does G.A.P. meet?
The G.A.P. Committee meets on the 4th Wednesday of every month at 1:00 pm.
