In March, YPN partnered with United Way of Central New Mexico and other organizations to provide laundry supplies for Laundry Love. One of the largest struggles for low-income families and homeless families is the process of cleaning their clothes and linens. The non-profit Laundry Love is a multi-faceted approach to providing laundry supplies and laundromat locations.

YPN promoted the effort last last month with members contributing $1,857.10 and donating 90 containers of laundry soap, bleach, and softeners to the effort. That equates to enough quarters and supplies to wash about 700 loads of dirty laundry!

Special thanks to one notable donor, Morgan Cannaday-Henson who made a $1,000 donation.
