A Message Sent by the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department on October 11, 2022

Dear Licensee, 

The New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department (NMRLD) observed suspicious activity on its technology system on October 7, 2022, and started analyzing the cyber incident.

A national independent cyber security company was retained to assist with the analysis and the impact of the incident.

Our analysis is ongoing and will continue for some time, but at this point, we are confident the unauthorized access has been shut off and there is no evidence of continued unauthorized activity.

NMRLD is proactively notifying you, as an individual or organization which may have been impacted.
