Leaves are falling and temperatures are dropping. With that comes the need to help the hungry in our community. The Roadrunner Food Bank has many upcoming opportunities for your offices or friends and family.

Letter Carrier Food Drive:  Saturday, November 16, 2019

Twelve different post offices in Albuquerque need your help unloading letter carrier trucks and then sorting the food donations into bins. For younger groups, we require a 1:3 adult to kid ratio for ages 6-9, and 1:6 ratio for ages 10-15 (if you are an organization this ratio needs to be met for children through 18 years old).

Holiday Mobile Food Pantry:  Monday, November 25, 2019

Roadrunner conducted its first multi-site Mobile Food Pantry several years to help meet the higher demand for food assistance that comes before the holidays. Volunteers are needed to help with the set-up of tables and food, food distribution, help clients carry food to their cars and clean-up. This opportunity is face-to-face with the community so we require a minimum of 18 years old to volunteer at these sites.
