Volunteers Needed for Annual Run for the Zoo on May 5th

For over 30 years, the Greater Albuquerque Association of REALTORS® has been a proud sponsor and coordinator of volunteers for the New Mexico BioPark's annual fundraising event. Be a part of the fun without running the run!

GAAR plans to continue this tradition in 2019, but we need YOUR help. In addition to cheering on the race participants, a variety of services are needed, such as handing out flyers, providing directions at intersections, keeping runners safe, etc.

Register to volunteer by Friday, April 12, 2019. Children, family, friends, and colleagues - everyone is welcome to volunteer! If you have questions about the event, please contact either of the Committee Chairs:

Volunteers should be prepared to report to their designated areas on May 5th by 6:00 am and stay until 11:30 am. Starting time may vary by team (check with your team captain for verification).

Bonus! All volunteers will receive a Run for the Zoo Volunteer T-shirt, which allows you FREE entrance into the Zoo on the day of the event.

All orientations will take place at the GAAR REALTOR® Building, 1635 University Blvd NE. T-shirts and Race Day information will be distributed during orientation.

  • Food Cart Sponsor: Make an online donation for volunteer snacks & bottled water
