Highlights (the highlights are a comparison between August 2017 and August 2018)

• the median detached home price rose  4.8 percent to $215,000
• the average detached price rose 6.1 percent to $251,598
• overall inventory of detached homes for sale decreased  16.4 percent to 3,326
• the number of closed sales for detached homes increased 4.8 percent to 1,171
• the number of detached homes going under contract rose 22.4 percent to 1,266
